Drew Barrymore and Ellen Page appear on the October 2009 cover of Marie Claire. Why were both ladies on the cover? The reason is because Ellen is Drew's co-star in the new movie Whip It!. It's a drama comedy movie about an ex-beauty pageant contestant (Ellen Page) that leaves her crowns behind after joining a roller derby team (imdb.com). No wonder, there are some pictures of them with the roller skate. 
Here's what Drew said about her co-star, Ellen:
“Ellen has such a beautiful body, and I personally battled with my own body image for years. I used to tell myself, ;You can’t wear anything sleeveless or strapless.; And all of a sudden I was like, ;What if I just didn’t send such negative messages to my brain and said, wear it and enjoy it?; And now I’m more comfortable in clothes than ever.”
