Proverbs from around the world

Don't you love proverbs? I do. I see proverbs as life guidance. It's like a manual book for life. When in doubt, search for the right proverbs..that's what I always have in mind. What I like more about proverb is that it's not like those long quotes or saying (although I also love long quotes and sayings). The thing about the proverb that it can say simple things but at the same time it enables those who read it to get the main point of what it wants to say.
