Never be..

Found this "Never" list called 5 Things You Should NEVER Be from Be Truly Happy. I believe in those term that we should never say never to anything at all. But when I read this article, I might change my mind about never say never. I really agree on the writer about this. Never thought about this before I read this article.

-- 5 Things You Should NEVER Be --

Never be perfect

No one is perfect. No one ever will be. And no one should want to be either! Not being perfect helps you improve yourself. You get better and better! Why just be good, when you can be better? Remember, there’s always room for improvements in your life and not considering yourself “perfect” is what makes you grow. Without growth, life gets dull fast!

Never be comfortable

When computers were becoming very popular, many businesses started using them. One particular business, which had been around for 100 years, decided computers weren’t necessary. They were comfortable with their current business model and didn’t want to change. Do you think that business is still around today? The answer is no! The lesson here is that if you’re too comfortable, there’s a big chance you won’t be ready to adapt to changes that occur.

Take the economy for instance. It went from “blooming” to “gloomy” overnight. So many businesses failed because they weren’t expecting this. Some people’s retirement accounts are even lower than when they started. Homes are foreclosed upon left and right….it’s terrible! Things changed, and they were too comfortable to adapt.

Never be scared

Don’t let fear hold yourself back. Instead, let your faith take you to new heights. Being scared means you’re uncertain. We must overcome this fear to realize that we are truly in control of our life. We decide our actions, emotions, and our destiny. No matter how bad things get, always know you, and only you, have the power to make it better. Believe in yourself and you will go far.

Never be satisfied

Now don’t get me wrong, satisfaction is a good thing. However, satisfaction turns from good to bad it starts setting a limit to what we’re capable of. Always push yourself to have more. More happiness, more success, more freedom or whatever else you may want.

Let’s say you’re working in a sales position and you’re number one in the company. If you are satisfied and stop pushing yourself, someone else who’s definition of satisfaction is higher will pass you up one day. Keep raising the bar for yourself!

Never be the same

Be unique. The world needs a new perspective, new ideas, and a new way of thinking. It’s boring seeing the same thing over and over again. Being different is what makes YOU interesting. You think different, you look different, and you act different. Keep it that way.

Looking up to people and wanting to be like them is great, but do it in a way where it’s “your own”.
