Build a Better Breakfast

Do you eat breakfast? I don't actually. Eating breakfast makes me have a weird feeling in my tummy. However, breakfast is said to be the most important meal in a day. This article from BHG.com can show you how to have a good breakfast that includes all the nutrition that your body needs.

For a breakfast that will keep you energetic all morning long, try a mix of:

  1. Quality Proteins: The protein in foods such as eggs, nuts, and smoked salmon makes breakfast stick to the ribs longer.
  2. Healthful Fats: People who eat a breakfast that contains a small amount of fat, like that found in low-fat milk, usually eat less overall throughout the day.
  3. Complex Carbs: The fiber and nutrients from whole grains, fruits, and vegetables help you lower cholesterol and maintain a healthy weight.

wall of frames

I always like a wall with a lot of frames. And when I look this wall with vintage frames on it, I was like...wow, this is such an inspiration. I can imagine having a house like the one below..with black and white color dominate the room and if I am the owner of the house I will have one side of the wall covered with these vintage frames.

Be grateful

I never get tired of writing about life and everything in it. Why? Because life is full of things. Good things, bad things, weird things, amazing things..you name it and you'll find it all in life. But this doesn't mean that life is full of drama. Remember, you are the one who is able to give direction to the path in life that you want to. Whatever it is, I am sure that each one of us always wants to get the best in every single aspect in our life. What I am trying to say is that, other than just living your life as it is...we should be grateful everyday in our life. People often say that everyday is a blessing and I agree with that. There are many moments in life that we can be grateful for. Either it is good or bad. Both surely has its own purpose. Sounds cliche but it is true that thing happens for a reason. You must be able to find the reason behind the things happened to you. Below is an article I've found but too bad I didn't manage to save the source...

The world opens up to us when we live in a space of gratitude. In essence, gratitude has a snowball effect. When we are appreciative and express that gratitude, the universe glows a bit brighter and showers us with even more blessings. There is always something to be grateful for, even when life seems hard. When times are tough, whether we are having a bad day or stuck in what may feel like an endless rut, it can be difficult to take the time to feel grateful. Yet, that is when gratitude can be most important. If we can look at our lives, during periods of challenge, and find something to be grateful for, then we can transform our realities in an instant. There are blessings to be found everywhere. When we are focusing on what is negative, our abundance can be easy to miss. Instead, choosing to find what already exists in our lives that we can appreciate can change what we see in our world. We start to notice one blessing, and then another.
When we constantly choose to be grateful, we notice that every breath is a miracle and each smile becomes a gift. We begin to understand that difficulties are also invaluable lessons. The sun is always shining for us when we are grateful, even if it is hidden behind clouds on a rainy day. A simple sandwich becomes a feast, and a trinket is transformed into a treasure. Living in a state of gratitude allows us to spread our abundance because that is the energy that we emanate from our beings. Because the world reflects back to us what we embody, the additional blessings that inevitably flow our way give us even more to be grateful for. The universe wants to shower us with blessings. The more we appreciate life, the more life appreciates and bestows us with more goodness.

Scarlett Morning

(images via here)

I don't know why lately I love looking at Scarlett Johansson...Maybe it's because of her new film "He's just not that into you". In fact, I had a dream about the movie last night. So I was browsing and found these two picture that I like the most among other pictures. But the one in which she wears the sporty clothes is the best of all. Scarlett was born on November 22, 1984. She acts and also sings. Her fame rose with her role in the movie The Horse Whisperer. In her other film, Lost in Translation, she won a BAFTA. And when she acted in a movie called Girl with a Pearl Earring in 2003, she earned her Golden Globe Award nominations in. Her first music album called Anywhere I Lay My Head. (source from wikipedia)

fly to the seventh heaven

Angel's wings...You will feel that your loved one is your angel's wing which can make you fly to the seventh heaven on the cloud number nine. That's exactly how I always feel when the one I love always wrap his arms on Me...holding Me tight. Knowing that I will always feel safe when he's beside me. Knowing that he loves me.
I'm riding high on cloud nine. You're as free as a bird in flight.
There's no difference between day and nightIt's a world of love and harmony
