Balanced Relationship

Balancing something is not always an easy thing to do. I found this article called "10 ways to maintain a balanced relationship" by Katarina Kovacevic from Lovingyou. Below are tips from experts about how to make a balance relationship. We know that we always have to keep the sparks alive with our partner, and that's not magic..we need to make it work. My fave tips is this one:

"Become unbeatable together. Stay strong together under any circumstance and be each other's rock. You are each other's best friend, lover and confidant. Be loyal to one another and don't let anyone talk bad about your partner."

So, what are the rest of the tips? Here you go...

10 ways to maintain a balanced relationship

Dr. Karen Sherman is a relationship psychologist specializing in premarital, on-going and married relationships and she's got this advice to offer couples:

"Make sure you know the skills to have a healthy conflict," she said. "When a couple is able to do this, they can actually have a more intimate relationship." So an argument from time to time can actually be good for a couple. Just don't hit below the belt!

"Never humiliate your partner publicly or throw something back in his or her face that has been offered to you as something private. These can be more a breach to your relationship than an actual affair." Lesson: what happens in the bedroom stays in the bedroom. Learn how to keep some elements of your relationship private.

"Do not expect your mate to fulfill all of your needs and take time to understand how your partner's needs are met through words and actions." The "you complete me" scene in Jerry Maguire may have had you sobbing like a sucker but learn how to take care of your own needs and nurture your partners – but don't live for them.

Best-selling author Dr. Bonnie Eaker Weil was named by New York Magazine as one of the city's top therapists. She prides herself on saving couples from all types of relationship peril, even adultery, and has a 98 percent success rate for saving relationships. Her tips include:

"Give verbal aphrodisiacs daily to your partner," she said. "Tell them they look good, that you loved the dinner they cooked." Who knew foreplay and wordplay went together so well?

"Try to go to bed at the same time every night," she said. "Even if one of you has to get up later for work."

Ladies and gentlemen, it should come as no surprise. Sex is just as important as communication. Thank you, Dr Weil! "Make sex a priority," she said. "Schedule it in. Take turns developing a sexual adventure for your partner. Use sex as a stress buster!"
Susan Barnes is a relationship expert who has appeared on numerous TV and radio shows across the country including Everyday with Rachael Ray and Playboy radio. She specializes in teaching people the art of spiritual romance. She's got this to offer couples"

"Put your partner first," said Barnes. "Put yourself in their shoes and try to think what it's like to be them before making any judgments. Most importantly, trust them." So, the next time you want to go out and party with the girls instead of following through with your set dinner plans, try to think how you'd feel if the tables were turned.

According to Barnes, the language of love comes in many different forms. "There is a fine line between being honest and being cruel. Be honest with kindness and use soft language, don't be brutal." So the next time you're ready to explode, take a step back and reconsider your approach. "And every night before you go to bed, tell your partner seven things that you are grateful for in your relationship."

"Become unbeatable together. Stay strong together under any circumstance and be each other's rock. You are each other's best friend, lover and confidant. Be loyal to one another and don't let anyone talk bad about your partner."

We've always heard it's important to pick your battles and Barnes definitely agrees. "Stop criticizing and complaining to your partner. If you have complaints try writing them down in a notebook and read them later. You'll be surprised how petty they really are.

Another soul...

What's more beautiful than being madly in love with someone?
Nothing beats that feeling I guess.
Knowing that the one who you love, loves you back is an irreplaceable feelings.
Knowing that you are really special to someone.
Having another soul you can cling to is a splendid feeling.
Let you know that you will not be left alone in this world =)

Just the 2 of You...

Who said you have to prepare a lot of cash on a date? What if you don't have cash? Should you avoid or reject a date? I don't think so. With or without money, a date surely must go on. Here are the ideas that you can do on a 'low-cash' condition. Don't you think it's good when you do the simple date but with meaningful feelings in it? After all, I'm sure you always want to be with someone who will always be beside you in rich and in poor (of course we don't want to be poor, but you know what I mean, right?), in good times and bad times. I personally love the idea of a date that does not include luxurious stuff. I enjoy being at home watching dvd, cook together, do karaoke, go to the museum, play with the doggies and other simple things. That's why I'm posting this list of fun ideas. It's not the places you go that matters but it's the one who's beside you that matters. And when you have the love of your life spending time with you through ups and downs...nothing can beat the nice feeling of that..to love and be loved. Enjoying every second of the happy and fun time=)

  1. Have a dance party in your living room and dance to your favorite songs from high school.
  2. Borrow a movie from the library or find a movie on Hulu and make homemade stovetop popcorn while watching the classics.
  3. Pack some cheese, crackers, and grapes and your favorite old quilt and have a picnic on the lawn.
  4. Sit on the roof and watch the sunset together.
  5. Get dressed up in your most formal clothes and go to the coffee shop as if you’ve just been to a gala.
  6. Sit on a sidewalk bench and people watch, making up fake names and stories about the people you see.

  7. Play board games and see who is the ultimate Hungry, Hungry Hippos champion.
  8. Go on a hike.
  9. Bring your camera and take photos together at the tourist spots around town.
  10. Make s’mores over candlelight.
  11. Visit the museum on free admission night.
  12. Go to the book store and look at travel books, and then plan your dream vacation.
  13. Go to the farmers market and buy a new fruit that you’ve never tried.
  14. Carry along a loaf of old bread and feed the ducks at the lake.
  15. Go to a new restaurant and split a decadent dessert.
  16. Fly a kite at the park.
  17. Cuddle on the couch and reminisce about “remember when”, telling your favorite stories of when you first started dating.
  18. Go to the botanic gardens and hold hands while you stroll.
  19. Get a pint of ice cream, hang up twinkle lights on the patio, and enjoy your ice cream outside together in the evening.
  20. Go swimming, just the two of you

Friday Love...

I am going to open this Friday morning with lots and lots of LOVE=) Last night I had the most wonderful night. All because of my boyfriend, to be exact, it's all because of our relationship that feels like being refresh and renew. The conversation between us last night was the most amazing conversation. We talked about the dreams we've had, we made jokes, reminiscing the times we've had and just remembering all the things we've been through. I am now the luckiest girl to have a boyfriend like him. I feel the LOVE...So, this is LOVE...

Here's one great poem I found just now...dedicated to my boyfriend whom I Love so much...

I want to be a lost poem in a stranger's coat pocket, that conveys the importance of you. To assure you of my desire, to assure you of dreams. I want all the possibilities of you in writing. I want to give you your reflection, I want your eyes on me, I want to travel to the lightness with you and stay there, and I want everything before you......everything before you to follow us like a trail behind me. I want never to say goodbye to you, even on the street corner or the phone.I want, I want so much... I'm breathless. I want to put my power into a poem to burn a hole in your pocket so I can sew it. I want my words to scream through you. I want the poem not to mean that much. And I want to contradict myself by accident, and for you to know what I mean. I want you to be distant and for me to feel you close, I want endless days when it's day and... night time never to end when it's night. I want all the seasons in one day. I want the sun to set before us and come up in front of us. I want water up to our waists and to be drenched by the rain, up to our ankles with holes in our shoes....with holes in our shoes. I want to think your thoughts because they're mine.

I want only what's urgent with you. I want to get in the way of the barriers and I want you to be a tough guy when you're supposed to, like you do already....when you're supposed to. And I want you to be tender, like you do already. And I want us to have met for a reason and I want that reason to be important. And I want it to be bigger than us, I want it to take over us. I want to forget. I want to remember us. And when you say you love me I don't want to think you really mean New York City, and all the funwe have in it. And I want your smile always, and your grimaces too. I want your scar on my lips, and I want your disappointments in my heart. I want your strength in my soul and I want your soul in my eyes. I want to believe everything you say, and I do. And I want you to tell me what's best when I don't know. And when you're lost I want to find you. And when you're weary I want to give you steeples and cathedral thoughts and coliseum dreams. I want to drag you from the darkness and kneel with you exhausted with the blinding light blaring on us... and..."

Best place to KISS

I loooove the image below. it's the closing scene of the movie Blueberry Nights. I've made one posting about the movie. Click here to read it. Not only because I love Jude Law so much but because of the storyline. A woman and a man become a couple just because of the blueberry pie. This scene reminds me of the list of the best place to kiss your loved one. Want to know the places? Read the list below.
My fave are point number 7 (Upside down) , 9 (In a downpour) and 10 (In bed, while one of you is asleep) . Point 9 is a very classy kissing style and point 10 is a very sweeeeet kissing style according to me. I can see that point number 4 (In the middle of a crowded street) and 5 (In a dressing room) would be good to try but I believe it depends on your partner whether he/she has enough guts to do it. Dare enough to do it?
1. On a roller coaster.
Yes, love has its ups and downs, but that’s what keeps it exciting. Kiss at the crest of that first big hill and hang on to each other as you plummet — talk about a rush!

2. On your desk.
Research shows that as many as 61 percent of relationships start in the workplace, and 50 percent of office amours lead to marriage (that includes this writer!). So if you’re flirting by the coffee machine or bantering at brainstorming sessions and it isn’t against company rules, take it to the next level (after hours, please; discretion is important!). Don’t have a desk job? Find the nearest supply closet.

3. At a museum.
Appreciating a beautiful work of art together can create passion. Why waste it? Give in, whether inspired by Picasso’s "The Lovers" at the National Gallery of Art in Washington, D.C., Gustav Klimt’s "The Kiss" at Vienna’s Osterreichische Museum für Angewandte Kunst, or a romantic, moving piece at a local gallery.

4. In the middle of a crowded street.
Preferably at rush hour on any given Monday. Life can be mundane and hectic at the same time, but a sweet, juicy kiss can make an average moment special. To get the idea, think of the iconic image of a sailor smooching a nurse in New York’s Times Square on V-J Day, or Robert Doisneau’s renowned 1950 black and white photo, Kiss by the Hotel de Ville, of a couple mid-lip-lock on a Paris Street.

5. In a dressing room.
Are you the type who’s turned on by the idea of a public display of affection — but would prefer some darned privacy? The dressing room rendezvous affords the best of both worlds. Plus, it has illicit allure (sneaking someone in where he or she technically isn’t supposed to go) without setting off theft detectors.

6. On a pile of coats.
Preferably, with a stranger you met at the party. It’s a mating rite of passage everyone should experience at least once. Guaranteed to irritate other guests!

7. Upside down.
You don’t need Spidey skills to pull it off. One person simply sits in a chair and tilts his or her head back while the other person approaches from behind, bends over and plants one. Or try it with one person lying on a couch, head against the armrest, and the other person standing above and leaning over. It’s a little awkward, a little weird — and absolutely wonderful.
8. In the back seat.
Find yourselves a lover’s lane, climb into the passion pit, and neck until you steam up the windows. It’s retro romantic.
9. In a downpour.
Yes, kissing in the rain is kind of cliché, but if you haven’t tried it, please do. The reason this kiss rules? Everyone else is frantically running for shelter, which makes time seem to stop for the two of you. It’s surreal and very sexy.

10. In bed, while one of you is asleep.
You know from fairy tales that the kiss that awakens can lead to happily ever after. There’s simply no lovelier way to wake up. As the kisser, however, you’re advised to refrain if the kiss-ee is recuperating from a double shift after a bout of insomnia.
"Give me a kiss, and to that kiss a score; Then to that twenty, add a hundred more:A thousand to that hundred: so kiss on,To make that thousand up a million.Treble that million, and when that is done,Let's kiss afresh, as when we first begun."

Say “I Love You”

How often do you say "I LOVE YOU" to your loved one? I say it quiet often. I know that words are said to express our feeling to other people. But do you know that there are other things that we can do to express our feeling to other people especially to the one that we love the most? It is said that actions speak more than words. I believe on this statement and I also believe that there are many of us that cannot really say what they want to say. Not because they don't want to say it, but because they don't know how to say it, when to say and what are the perfect words to say to other people. Here are the things that we can do to say "I Love You" without saying a word, but for sure someone will feel the love we give to him/her. I read every point and completely agree with the action as a the replacement of saying "I Love You".

10 Ways to Say “I Love You” (Without Speaking A Word)

  • Leave Notes (in Unusual Places) - Perhaps life has become so busy that you feel like your schedule rarely coincides with that of your partner or kids. How about leaving them a note somewhere unexpected? You’ve probably all heard of kids having little notes from their mom’s in their lunch bags – that’s one place to start, but how about a note by the kettle, in the fridge, on the pillow, on the computer screen...? This can become a bit of a game as you compete to leave a note in the most unusual places!
  • Hug Someone - Physical gestures mean a huge amount, and a hug can be just what a loved one needs to put a big smile on their face. Whether it’s snuggling up on the sofa with your partner or giving your kids a goodnight hug, being held and warmed by another person is a perfect way to feel loved.
  • Write A Poem - A time-honored way to say “I love you” is to write a poem. You don’t have to be Shakespeare – look for sincere, original ways to tell someone that you love them. Try not to fall back on hackneyed phrases about their beautiful blue eyes or their rosy red lips; write about something that’s meaningful to you, perhaps that dimple on their chin, or the way they laugh at your jokes.
  • Give An Unexpected Gift - I’m sure you give your loved ones gifts on their birthday, at Christmas, and on special occasions like Valentine’s day. But how about bringing a gift completely at random? An unexpected present is a moment of pure joy for the recipient and the giver, and it needn’t be anything expensive. A few of their favorite chocolates, a small bunch of flowers, a book which you know they’ll enjoy ... for a few dollars, you have the perfect way to say “I love you”.
  • Do The Chores (Without Being Asked) - For many people, another extremely welcomed gift is someone else doing the chores! If it’s your partner who usually cleans the kitchen, why not do it and surprise him/her? If you normally have to be nagged to vacuum, get it done without being asked. Finding little ways to make someone else’s day smoother lets them know how much they mean to you.
  • Hold Hands - Like hugging, holding hands is something that we often neglect to do when a relationship becomes cozy and familiar. Try taking your partner’s hand when walking down the street, or hold their hands across a table in a restaurant. Being in contact physically helps you feel closer emotionally. This is especially important if you need to talk through a difficult issue or problem. Holding hands can also be a visible demonstration of support if your partner is upset or feeling down.

  • Make A Special Meal - If Friday nights usually mean ordering takeout, why not offer to cook for a change? Make a special meal for your partner (you don’t need an excuse for this – it doesn’t have to be Valentine’s day or an anniversary!) Include their favorite foods, take a few minutes to set the table, to light candles and put music on, and your usual forgettable evening slumped on the sofa can become a night to remember...
  • Dress Up - In the early stages of a relationship, you probably made the effort to look your best. Of course it’s nice to get to the point where you can lounge around in your jammies or your over sized, hole-ridden t-shirt... but occasionally getting dressed up can rekindle that early excitement in the relationship. Why not go out to a “swankier” restaurant than usual (it doesn’t have to be much more expensive), or just get dressed up in your party clothes for a special meal for two at home?
  • Give a Foot/Shoulder Rub - Modern life is stressful and many of us have aches and pains caused by tense muscles. A shoulder rub, back rub or foot rub is a wonderful way to tell your partner “I love you”. It demonstrates that their physical well being and comfort is important to you, and it’s also a great way to reinforce physical and emotional closeness.
  • Listen to Them - It’s easy to talk over people or to tune out most of what they’re saying whilst reading the newspaper or chatting online with friends. Listen actively to your partner – when they want to talk, put down what you’re doing, and focus all your attention on them. Listen for what they don’t say; unvoiced concerns or worries, or hints at what they’d really like. Nod and make eye-contact to show that you’re paying attention.

Some of my favourite images from rocknrollbride.com. You should go and check the website. It will make you happy to see those happy couples taking fun on the picture for their wedding. WHo says wedding ceremony should be formal. Look at these different couples. They are doing it in their own way of style. It's their BIG DAY and they can surely do anything they want to. I'm thinking of making one folder filled up with my fave pictures of couple so when someday My boyfriend and I should have a photo session, I will straight away know what kind of pictures that we want=)

10 Things Men Wish Women Knew

This is a fun list to read. It's about 10 Things Men Wish Women Knew. I got this from one ordinary guy,Shawn McKee from blog.ediets.com. It's quite comforting to know that this list was not made by those so-called psychologist expert or relationship expert but was made by an ordinary guy with just ordinary mind. So lovely. I think a list like this can really represent a large group of people who we meet often in our sosial relationship. A common and ordinary people. Happy reading=)

For as long as people have been pairing up, they've had problems with communication. So to help alleviate some of the problems that arise when the sexes try to coincide in courtship, I've put together a list of things women should know about men. As a man, these are the things I wish every woman knew about me -- and my brethren -- to make life simpler for everyone.

  1. We lie. But it's not as bad as it sounds. Generally, we do it to make you feel good or avoid trouble. Were you really looking for the truth when you asked: "Does this make my butt look big?" We think your butt looks great. Everything you try on looks "great." Let's leave it at that.
  2. We're insecure -- just like you. This seems obvious, but since men tend not to open up about their feelings, it may be hard to actually recognize. We want to feel wanted and needed. Throw us an occasional compliment, ask us to help you do something manly or laugh at our dumb jokes. Pointing out our imperfections is painful for us, too, so take it easy when addressing our growing beer belly, receding hairline or bedroom prowess.
  3. Your body is sexy. Fitness is sexy. You don't have to be built like a ballerina to turn us on, but the fact that you take care of yourself is important. Plus, we love seeing you in your sexy little workout clothes and we're hoping that when you get home from the gym you'll suggest we "hit the showers" together.
  4. The eyes have it. We think you're sexy, remember? Sometimes our eyes wander, but that doesn't mean we're planning on straying. It's unnatural for a man to ignore a beautiful woman -- it's science. So, if you catch your man ogling another beauty, don't point out all her imperfections and call her a "skank." Jealousy is not pretty.
Acceptable actions for you to take: Punch him in the arm, make a smartass comment about her outfit, say "You wish," start ogling a handsome man in the area, suggest a threesome (then add "you wish") or anything else that's shows you're confident and can laugh off a faux pas as trivial as our naturally wandering eyes.
  5. We're always ready for sex -- always. That's pretty much it on that one. So, feel free to initiate whenever you're feeling randy.
  6. Subtly is lost on us. This is one that always seems to baffle women I know. "I flipped my hair, smiled and touched my neck, how could he not know I'm interested?" Because he doesn't get subtle clues, as a matter of fact, subtly is all but lost on the male species.
I'm not sure why this is, but if you want something, you may just have to ask directly. Is it as fun as dropping hints about what you want for your anniversary and being surprised when you don't get it? Maybe not, but it will eliminate a great deal of miscommunication.
  7. Cookies, cakes and the kitchen. When you cook for us, it's the sexiest thing ever. We love food and we love women, so a woman who can feed us pretty much covers all the bases. Watching you cook is better foreplay than pretty much anything, unless you're cooking wearing only an apron, then it is the best foreplay -- ever.
  8. You don't really want to know what we're thinking. Men's minds, like their eyes, tend to wander. You ask, "What are you thinking?" And you get a blank stare. It's not because we're not thinking anything, but because we know you don't care about the finer points of a 3-4 defense, who would win in a fight between a ninja and a pirate (ninja, in case you're wondering), or how many hot dogs we think we could eat in 20 minutes. So, when we reply, "How beautiful you are…" Just accept it.
  9. Directions? We don't need no stinkin' directions! We don't ask for directions because we like to solve problems, it makes us feel accomplished. Half the fun of going somewhere is the trip, so getting lost and finding our way back is a big part of the fun of going to your coworker's birthday party. We're explorers by nature; let us have our great expedition -- even if it makes us late. You can blame us for being late -- we don't mind.
  10. Stop asking, "Where is this going?" We don't know. We know where we hope this will go, but we're not going to stop and ask for directions. You have a right to ask this at some point as the relationship develops, but we're trying to enjoy the trip, not rush to the destination. Asking will just make us feel pressured, so just skip this question all together and enjoy the ride. We really just want to make you happy, that's all. More often than not, we'll do the right thing, but take it easy on us when we act like the cavemen we are, at least we're trying.

Love Love Love

Near You
'Neath velvet cloth of night and shadows,my heart confessed its thoughts to the wind.
I could feel your smile from a distancewith the touch of your closeness profound.
The sun reached behind a fading sky,so the moon could take its proper place.
Day to darkness, brightened by the stars,
leaving upon the blue watersa shimmering portrait of your face.
You, with all your savoring sweetness, tenderly pierced the walls of my soulas you wove a new tapestry withthe golden threads of your hope and love.
Yesterday you offered me courage, today you endowed me with your strength.
Every moment together, a gift.
Every day a celebration of life. How lovely the music of your heart.
You are the air I breathe, sound I hearand the spirit that gently moves me.
I don't wish for the moon, I have the stars.

Soul Mate

I've had one posting about soul mate before. You can have a look it here if you haven't read it. At my first posting, I discussed about different kinds of soul mates. Have you found your soul mate? A very short and simple question but it gets kind of hard to answer it. I wonder what will happen if you happen to meet your soul mate but you didn't realize that he/she was the one who is meant to be your soul mate? What if at that time you accidentally let the chance of finding your soul mate slips out of your sight? So, I came across this article about tracking down and finding your Soul Mate. Who knows someone out there needs to have this guidance just to be aware if the soul mate or the one is near and approaching. So when your soul mate-to-be is somewhere near you, you can feel it and soon will have your arms wrapped around your soul mate...and never be separated.

The first thing you have to do before finding your soul mate, is finding yourself. What qualities are important to you? What are your morals and beliefs? How do you show your affection and how do you expect it to be presented to you? These are questions necessary for you to ask yourself before going out there. Giving yourself an interview will make things clearer of what type of person you are really looking for, instead of just going on a blind search.

It is very common for a person to date people just for "dating". While dating is a fun and useful experience, it is not advisable to just go out with anyone just to have a date, or to enter a relationship because you do not want to be alone. When you go out on a date, it is important that you use that date as an opportunity to observe and see if the person is someone you would like to see again and if they carry the qualities you are looking for. If, for example, if you are searching for a person who is in touch with his or her romantic side, but go on a date with someone who likes acting rough at baseball games and loves hunting, then you could pretty much see where the relationship would go. You should be able to sense these qualities after a few dates.

Once you have realized that these dates will not lead to a relationship you have dreamed of, then obviously the person is not your dream mate either, and it would be best if you stop seeing each other to prevent any misleading expectations. Continuing to date someone just because you entered a comfort zone or do not want to hurt their feelings will only hold you back from meeting who you are really meant to be with, not to mention waste precious time for both you and your dates. Gently break it to him or her that you find them to be a very interesting and nice person, but you feel like going solo for a while and then move on.

Tracking down your soul mate will require patience; so do not feel frustrated or hopeless if you do not find him or her in a certain amount of time. Good things take time to be brought together and you will come together when the time is right.

The time becomes right when you look out for the right signs. Such signs would be:

  1. Being strongly attracted to each other physically.
  2. Being strongly attracted to each others personalities.
  3. Having common interests.
  4. Sharing the same values.
  5. Major respect for one another.
  6. Someone who makes you feel truly special and worthy.
  7. Someone who puts in a great effort to show you their passion for you

"People think a soul mate is your perfect fit, and that's what everyone wants. But a true soul mate is a mirror, the person who shows you everything that is holding you back, the person who brings you to your own attention so you can change your life. A true soul mate is probably the most important person you'll ever meet, because they tear down your walls and smack you awake. But to live with a soul mate forever? Nah. Too painful. Soul mates, they come into your life just to reveal another layer of yourself to you, and then leave. A soul mates purpose is to shake you up, tear apart your ego a little bit, show you your obstacles and addictions, break your heart open so new light can get in, make you so desperate and out of control that you have to transform your life, then introduce you to your spiritual master..." — Elizabeth Gilbert (Eat, Pray, Love: One Woman's Search for Everything Across Italy, India and Indonesia)

To end the day...

A Short Fantasy

As I run and run my feet barely touch the ground. I'm not running away, nor am I running to. I run for the shear joy of running. The grass is wet and droplets cling to my bare feet, but it is not cold. I weave among the trees...and nymphs...and dryads. The brilliant, autumn afternoon sun has awakened them and they now dance and sing, sharing in my laughter of life. I reach the heart of the woods and skip across the brook, not minding the splashes. My feet dance to the sound of the water as I spin and spin. I turn my face to the sun. The treetops twirl before me. I smile and close my eyes. I spread my arms wide, drinking in every drop of happiness.

My light yellow dress flares as I spin, rippling in the gentle breeze. Wild and flying, my hair flows free of all restraints. Russet leaves are scattered beneath my feet. They add their music to that of the water...and the wind ...and the trees...and the birds, creating an orchestra of joy. They play and play as I fall to the grass, not from dizziness or weariness, but from happiness. I focus on the melody of the song, being carried by the wood faeries. It is so soft that one can hardly here it, but it is there and it is beautiful. “Simply smile forever after, for joy is joy, and love is laughter,” they sing. I lie there, content just to listen. The melody plays on and on, changing meaning and tune, but always coming back to the same jubilant chorus. All too soon the sun begins it's decent, betraying the time. I could lie here forever, but I must go. Must leave my little haven of joy. As I walk, with whispered farewells, the dryads fly about, escorting me homeward. No. Worldward, for this is my true home.

There is a sadness in the song now, but I am still happy. I know I will be back soon. There is no reason to be sad where joy can fill it's place. Tears are not forbidden, but tears over trifles are, indeed, senseless. I much prefer to smile. It is so much easier. The dryads fall back as I stand at the edge of the woods. I raise my hand in a quick wave and laugh at their sad faces. Turning, I pass a single purple violet, the last of the season. From within flutters a tiny butterfly of a vibrant orange and green. It follows me as I exit my realm of peace and stays with me as I walk, it's wings fluttering a harmony, “And love is laughter.”

Romantic places...

More best romantic getaways from travelandleisure.com. For sure you can refresh you love and flourish it more and more with your loved one=)

Palm Springs

Palm Springs has long attracted Hollywood power couples, from Frank Sinatra and Ava Gardner in the 50’s to Brad and Angelina. The newest draw for A-listers? The eight casitas at the year-old, Moroccan-inspired Colony Palms Hotel with private patios, outdoor bathtubs, and quick access to the Purple Palm restaurant, for a poolside meal of Mediterranean-inspired dishes. There’s more to do in Palm Springs than lounge by the pool: in a single afternoon you can hike through canyons and, after an eight-minute tram ride up Mount San Jacinto, toss snowballs in a fairy-tale alpine forest. Head downtown to browse the Midcentury Modern furniture shops along North Palm Canyon Drive. One of the best is the new Trina Turk Residentia, stocked with vintage pieces and pillows upholstered in Turk’s signature graphic prints.

Granada, Spain

Urban Retreat The ancient Alhambra. The narrow Moorish streets. Both are within walking distance of Palacio de los Patos, a 19th-century property redesigned with sparkling white modern interiors. Book a room in the old palacio, where contemporary touches (mirrored tables and mod-patterned rugs) are mixed with original detailing (elaborate wood moldings and mosaics). Don’t miss a meal at the hotel’s ambitious Senzone restaurant. Granada is full of shrill souvenir shops. For home furnishings, as well as jewelry, tiles, and other crafts, cut to the chase at Bazar Pazouki and El Zoco Nazarí.

Fiji

On the Waterfront You arrive by seaplane at Navutu Stars, a barefoot resort on remote Yaqeta Island, swooping down over shimmering jade-green waters and a palmy white beach. In addition to a beautiful shoreline, great diving, and glamorous thatched bures—some with stunning soaking tubs carved into the smooth white-concrete floor—this South Pacific paradise has an adventurous chef who serves up Asian dishes with Mediterranean flair. Have a picnic on a nearby deserted island with a box lunch of grilled lobster and chilled white wine.

feel the LOVE

Make You Feel My Love

When the rain is blowing in your face
And the whole world is on your case
I could offer you a warm embrace
To make you feel my love
When the evening shadows and the stars appear
And there is no one there to dry your tears
I could hold you for a million years
To make you feel my love
I know you haven’t made your mind up yet
But I would never do you wrong
I’ve known it from the moment that we met
No doubt in my mind where you belong
I’d go hungry, I’d go black and blue
I’d go crawling down the avenue
There’s nothing that I wouldn’t do
To make you feel my love
The storms are raging on the rollin’ sea
And on the highway of regret
The winds of change are blowing wild and free
You ain’t seen nothing like me yet
I could make you happy, make your dreams come true
Nothing that I wouldn’t do
Go to the ends of the earth for you
To make you feel my love
(Bob Dylan)

LoVe for the weekend

Wishing you Lots and lots of LOVE on the weekend

It's You
-by Silent T-

I find myself watching sunsets trying to find your face in them.
I find myself reading books I've never read beforetrying to find new words for you.
I try new foods searching for a recipe that is just for you
I listen to the birds singing trying to find a song just for you
When I feel the wind on my skin I feel you touching me
When the sun warms my skin I know it's your breathe warming me
When I walk in the rain I know it's your love showering me
When my feet sinks into the sand I know that I'm falling for you
