Take A Seat - Make A Friend...

It's Monday and out of nowhere I was bumped into this video from SoulPancake with the title of "Take A Seat - Make A Friend". Such a mood booster video. It's about making a new friend with a stranger you meet in a ball pit somewhere that has be put in the street. Such an amazing video. Simple, full of love and real. You'll see that there's always a good side of each one of us when we speak truly from our hearts. So here's the video below.

Something Stupid

Do you know the song called "Something Stupid"? It's one of my fave old songs. I love all versions of the duets. Frank & Nancy Sinatra, Robbie Williams & Nicole Kidman, Glee version and the latest duet of the song is singing by Michael Buble featuring Reese Witherspoon. I found all four versions of the duets. I don't which one I like the best. You'll be the judge =) Let's sing along. Have a great weekend.

A Thousand Years

I am currently in love with Christina Perri's song "A Thousand Years". Not because it's one of the soundtrack of Twilight Saga (one of my fave movies) but it's the melody and also the lyrics. Loooove it so much. Seems like my baby daughter loves it too. Everytime I play the song, she can easily falls asleep =) Here's the video below.

Heart beats fast
Colors and promises
How to be brave
How can I love when I'm afraid
To fall
But watching you stand alone
All of my doubt
Suddenly goes away somehow

One step closer

(Chorus)
I have died everyday
waiting for you
Darlin' don't be afraid
I have loved you for a
Thousand years
I'll love you for a
Thousand more

(Verse 2)
Time stands still
beauty in all she is
I will be brave
I will not let anything
Take away
What's standing in front of me
Every breath,
Every hour has come to this

Inspiring..

It's always feel good when you can see or watch something inspiring. I love seeing things that can touch us emotionally. There are many advertisements or commercials that deliver message that touches our heart. These are one of those commercials that I meant. Really are touching commercials.

So Close

I've been wanting to hear this song since last night. It's a song called So Close by Jon Mclaughlin (Enchanted OST). Have you seen the movie Enchanted? It's about a fairy tale love story. I am not a really big fan of the movie but since it has this song as the soundtrack...ooh I'm melted everytime I hear the song. I don't know why but I love the lyrics and the melody. Here's the song and the movie I've been talking about. Some people might find this song so overly romantic or maybe too cheesy but I care nothing...I love this song =) Such a beautiful song that you can hear a thousand times over..

You’re in my arms
And all the world is calm
The music playing on for only two
So close together
And when I’m with you
So close to feeling alive

A life goes by
Romantic dreams will stop
So I bid mine goodbye and never knew
So close was waiting, waiting here with you
And now forever I know
All that I wanted to hold you
So close

So close to reaching that famous happy end
Almost believing this was not pretend
And now you’re beside me and look how far we’ve come
So far we are so close

How could I face the faceless days
If I should lose you now?
We’re so close
To reaching that famous happy end
And almost believing this was not pretend
Let’s go on dreaming for we know we are
So close
So close
And still so far

Natalie Portman is now the new Miss Dior Cherie. I always love the commercial ad of Miss Dior Cherie Fragrance. The view of the commercial video and the print ad has always been so feminine. The colors of the video and also the background music always make a perfect combination to the whole advertisement. And as always, Sofia Coppola directed the oh-so marvelous ad. Below is the print ad and also the TV ad. Look at Natalie Portman, she really is the most beautiful woman on earth!

Rhythm of Love

Hi everyone, how's your weekend? I had fun on weekend. You know, continuing to re-decor my room =) So, I am going to start this end of February by giving you a song that hopefully can lift up your spirit and can make you smile and start a beautiful day. This time I'm posting a song from Plain White T's with the title of Rhythm of Love. The reason I am choosing this song is because it's such an easy and happy song...from the lyrics to the tune. I am sure this kind of song is perfect to be played when you wake up in the morning or when you're about to get ready to leave home for work. And when you watch the video of the song, the scenes all look so happy and cheerful. Love it =) Have a great Monday...

Charlie St Cloud

Last night I watched a DVD..it was Charlie St Cloud. I bought the DVD about a month ago and just yesterday I had a chance to finally watched it. I didn't have any expectation when I decided to watch this movie. I thought it was just only another teen drama movie about a guy falling in love with a girl and so on. Why do I think that way? Because the main actor in the movie was Zac Efron ... a real teen idol! But I was wrong!!! The movie was not like what I thought it would be. Well, it is a romantic drama movie. It has far better story. I cried several times watching some of the scenes and I couldn't believe that Zac Efron has been able to make me cry. He played Charlie St Cloud so well in the movie.

The story of the movie was based on Ben Sherwood's best-selling novel with the title of The Death and Life of Charlie St. Cloud. Here's the summary of the movie:
  • Charlie St. Cloud is a young man overcome by grief at the death of his younger brother. So much so that he takes a job as caretaker of the cemetery in which his brother is buried. Charlie has a special lasting bond with his brother though, as he can see him. Charlie meets up with his brother (Sam) each night to play catch and talk. Then, a girl comes into Charlie's life and he must choose between keeping a promise he made to Sam, or going after the girl he loves(imdb.com)
What I love the most about this movie is the bond and relationship between Charlie and his brother, Sam. Here's the quote from the movie:

Charlie St. Cloud: We'll always be Brothers...
Sam St. Cloud: Promise, through rain or shine, hell or high water?
Charlie St. Cloud: I PROMISE!

The other thing I love about this movie is to show us that if you've given a second chance in this life, there must always be a purpose behind it. Even better, there's a really great poem by EE Cummings on the movie:

Dive For Dreams

dive for dreams
or a slogan may topple you
(trees are their roots
and wind is wind)

trust your heart
if the seas catch fire
(and live by love
though the stars walk backward)

honour the past
but welcome the future
(and dance your death
away at this wedding)

never mind a world
with its villains or heroes
(for god likes girls
and tomorrow and the earth)
-E.E. Cummings-

So, if you haven't watched it, well..you should watch this movie soon.

Over the rainbow..

Hi everyone? Good Morning...Today I am going to open this week with a memorable song..and old song that I'm sure most of us know. It's "Somewhere Over The Rainbow". Why do I chose Glee version of the song, because the beat is more relaxing in a more happy way. Especially when it has Ukulele as one of the instrument. This song always lift me up, always been able to give my face a smile...and hope this time I can bring smile to brighten up your day. Listen to the tune, sing the lyrics...Have a great Monday =)

Somewhere over the rainbow
Way up high
And the dreams that you dreamed of
Once in a lullaby
Somewhere over the rainbow
Blue birds fly
And the dreams that you dreamed of
Dreams really do come true ooh ooooh
Someday I'll wish upon a star
Wake up where the clouds are far behind me ee ee eeh
Where trouble melts like lemon drops
High above the chimney tops thats where you'll find me oh
Somewhere over the rainbow bluebirds fly
And the dream that you dare to,why, oh why can't I?

Tiny Apartment

I have always wanted to have big house. I guess it's because I grow up in this huge house that my parents built long before I was born. So, it's seems like a good thing for me to be able to have space of my own...my big room with my queen size bed, my own big closet and so on. But then I found this amazing tiny apartment on Yahoo! Green. It changes the way I think to always want a big house or apartment. What so special about this apartment is that it has 24 rooms! Can you believe that? How can you fit or build 24 rooms in one tiny apartment. Now I believe that it's not how big your house is but it's about how you can manage to have all the rooms that you need in one place called home...no matter how small it is..a home is always the best place =) You can see the image and the video below..

Let's go to sleep with clearer heads

Here's a song that I just found. I heard this song the first time on Grey's Anatomy Season 5 Episode 22. It's a song by Ingrid Michaelson called "Turn To Stone". The first time I heard the song, I fell in love completely. At first I thought it's because of the scene of the episode, it was very touchy. But then when I heard more and more on the lyrics, the song become more and more beautiful. Here's a video of the song. I was about to post a video with the Grey's Anatomy background but I decided not to. I want people to hear the song without any interruption of any other visual other than the song. Enjoy the song..Hope you like it =)

Let's take a better look
Beyond a story book
And learn our souls are all we own
Before we turn to stone

Let's go to sleep with clearer heads
And hearts to big to fit our beds
And maybe we won't feel so alone
Before we turn to stone

And if you wait for someone else's hand
And you will surely fall down
And if you wait for someone else's hand
You'll fall...You'll fall

I know that I am nothing new
There's so much more than me and you
But brother how we must atone
Before we turn to stone

Brother how we must atone
Before we turn to stone...Before we turn to stone

The way I am..

This song is perfect to show someone that you love him/her unconditionally. If you love someone the way they are, they wil love just the way you are. There's no reason for loving. When you love someone, you just love the person.

Ingrid Michaelson - The Way I Am

If you were falling, then I would catch you.
You need a light, I'd find a match.

Cuz I love the way you say good morning.
And you take me the way I am.

If you are chilly, here take my sweater.
Your head is aching, I'll make it better.

Cuz I love the way you call me baby.
And you take me the way I am.

I'd buy you Rogaine when you start losing all your hair.
Sew on patches to all you tear.

Cuz I love you more than I could ever promise.
And you take me the way I am.
You take me the way I am.
You take me the way I am.

The way you look tonight

Have you noticed that there are so many versions of an old song titled "The Way You Look Tonight'?. It is one my my all time favorite songs. Even my favorite movie (My BestFriend's Wedding) use the song as one of the soundtrack. Love it so much. Basically I love all versions of the song..Frank Sinatra, Tony Bennett, and Michael Buble.

The last version the I'm currently love is the one which Kris Allen (American Idol 8) sings. The song sounds so lovely. His voice is so soothing. I don't know why but it always sounds good when someone who often sing rock songs finally get the urge to sing slow and soothing song. I have here three versions of the song. Kris Allen, Michael Buble and Tony Bennett. See which version do you like the most. For sure this song will be on my wedding song playlist

The Way You Look Tonight

Some day, when I'm awfully low,
When the world is cold, I will feel a glow just thinking of you...
And the way you look tonight.

Yes you're lovely, with your smile so warm And your cheeks so soft,
There is nothing for me but to love you, And the way you look tonight.

With each word your tenderness grows, Tearing my fear apart...
And that laugh that wrinkles your nose, It touches my foolish heart.

Lovely ... Never, ever change. Keep that breathless charm.
Won't you please arrange it ? 'Cause I love you ... Just the way you look tonight.

It might be you

Have you ever heard this song? It's an old song. It's a song called "It might be you", the singer is Stephen Bishop. It's a song from the 80s and was the soundtrack of 1982 film Tootsie, starring Dustin Hoffman and Jessica Lange.

I love the movie. At first I didn't know that the song was on the movie and when I watched the movie and hearing the song was on the movie..I was like, wow...this is too good to be true. The song is so good and the movie was very good too. Tootsie is one of my most favorite movies. Dustin Hoffman was in the movie, so no question asked=)

Every time I hear this song I feel very sure that someone is out there, the perfect guy for me is waiting=) You might want to ask why do I make this posting on Monday morning. It is because I feel so in love with my boyfriend of 2 years=) In fact, I've been in love always with him. So, I guess I will dedicate this song to him .. "Something's telling me it might be you" I pray and hope that God will listen to my prayers that I can spend forever with my boyfriend..a guy that I've been waiting for all of my life. Love you...

IT MIGHT BE YOU (Stephen Bishop)

Time, I've been passing time watching trains go by
All of my life
Lying on the sand watching seabirds fly
Wishing there could be someone
Waiting home for me

Something's telling me it might be you
It's telling me it might be you
All of my life

Looking back as lovers go walking past
All of my life
Wondering how they met and what makes it last
If I found the place would I recognize the face

Something's telling me it might be you
It's telling me it might be you
So many quiet walks to take
So many dreams to wake and there's so much love to make

I think we're gonna need some time
Maybe all we need is time
And it's telling me it might be you
All of my life

I've been saving love songs and lullabies
And there's so much more
No one's ever heard before
Something's telling me it might be you
Yeah, it's telling me it must be you and
I'm feeling it'll just be you
All of my life
It's you, it's you I've been waiting for all of my life
Maybe it's you Maybe it's you I've been waiting for all of my life.

This is home..

When I turned on my laptop this morning while my coffee is still so hot, I searched for a perfect song to play on this usual morning. I looked my my song list and found this song that I haven't played since quite some time. The song is called "This is home" from Switchfoot. It is one of the soundtrack of the movie Narnia. I'm posting the video not because of the movie but the feeling I have everytime I hear this song. Don;t you think it's always feel so good when you can finally able to go back to the place that you can call a home? I've been abroad for 3 years, and everytime I went back to my home country...it felt so good. Well..wherever it is, a place that you can call a home is the best place for you, because home is where the heart is. Enjoy the video=)

SWITCHFOOT - This Is Home

I've got my memories
Always
Inside of me
But I can't go back
Back to how it was

I believe you now I've come too far
No I can't go back
Back to how it was

Created for a place I've never known

This is home

Now I'm finally

Where I belong Where I belong
Yeah, this is home
I've been searching For a place of my own
Now I've found it Maybe this is home
Yeah, this is home

Belief over misery I've seen the enemy
And I won't go back Back to how it was

And I got my heart
Set on What happens next
I got my eyes wide It's not over yet
We are miracles And we're not alone

And now after all My searching
After all my questions I'm gonna call it home
I got a brand new mindset I can finally see
The sunset I'm gonna call it home

Now I know Yeah, this is home
I've come too far And I won't go back
Yeah, this is home

Ocean World

OceanWorld 3D - Free videos are just a click away

Yesterday I watched Oceanworld on 3D at the cinema. It's a documentary movie about life under the sea. The movie above is the trailer, but too bad I couldn't find the English version. If someone is asking me whether I like sea or mountain more, I definitely will say I love the sea more than I love the mountain scenery. The opening of the movie was this female sea turtle . So in this movie you'll be joining the sea turtle on her journey across the ocean to a place where she will lay all of her 100 eggs on the beach. On her journey, you'll meet those other fishes, eels, plankton, sea horse, jellyfish and other amazing sea creatures. I watched it on 3D, it feels like you were really diving under the sea to give the sea turtle a company on her way home. It is amazing to know and see that the ocean world is such an amazing and wonderful world. During the movie, I cannot think about anything else other than GOD, the Almighty. I am speechless and can't say more about this graceful and wonderful world we're living now. This movie has made me want to always express my gratitude to God for making the wonderful creatures on earth.

The art of Latte

For those of you who loves coffee...raise your hand=) You will love this art of latte. Everytime I order a latte with those pictured foam, I don't feel like drinking it. Not because it doesn't taste good but not to mess the picture ha ha sounds silly..I know=p I once saw a barista in a coffee shop making this really nice picture from a latte foam. Looks very easy when he's doing it but I know that it takes lots of practices to be such an expert of art latte. Here I also post a video on making latte art...
