Bubble Hotel...

Oh wow..this is really a stunning and unbelievable hotel. I've never seen anything like it before. Look at the images below, those are the images of Attrap’RĂªves, a bubble hotel in France. I like to see it but I am not really sure whether I want to experience sleeping over in one of those bubbles. I would surely try it with two conditions...first, someone will have to accompany me and two, a curtain is a must haha =) How about you?

Unique Hotel - Unique Cars

I am a huge fan of old and antique car. If I could choose, I'd rather own an antique old car than a modern car. I will drive the car and show it off to everyone haha and I will sleep on it too. Well, that's just my dream for now. Maybe I can fulfill my dream of sleeping on an antique car if I can visit this hotel. There a hotel in Stuttgart, Germany called V8 Hotel. The hotel has 10 theme based rooms. Below are some of the rooms. Aren't those amazing hotel rooms? Check the images below.

Holiday...Vacation..

When was the last time you had a vacation? I am really in the mood for a vacation now but I don't think I will be able to do it, not in the near moment. So, here I am browsing about villa to rent when I have a chance to go on a vacation. Bali will be my next vacation destination. It's funny I rarely go to Bali, which is located just to the next island to where I live - the island of Java=) Here you can see some of the nice villas in Bali. What do you think? Ready to pack your bag? I do

The charm of Nantucket

I just finished reading a book of my fave author, Jane Green. This time the book is "The Beach House". The setting of the story was in Nantucket. I had always had a crush of Nantucket. The place is so charming and calming. I even had a posting about how to dress in Nantucket. Click here to see the post. Why do I like the place? I love every single thing about it, but what I like the most is that it is located by the sea. I often imagine myself live there. And when I read the book, it's like a coincidence that my fave author had Nantucket as the main setting of the story. The story is about friendships of strangers who have never met before. Out of nowhere, they end up being in one vacation house in Nantucket with their own different problems. Amazingly, they have bonded and became more than friends, they became a family. It was a really touching story about how people have to know that there are other people who love them out there, even strangers can be family. Here's a general info about Nantucket:
Nantucket is an island 30 miles (48.3 km) south of Cape Cod, Massachusetts, in the United States. Together with the small islands of Tuckernuck and Muskeget, it constitutes the town of Nantucket, Massachusetts, and the coterminous Nantucket County, which are consolidated
Here's the review from Yahoo! Travel about Nantucket:
Old Nantucket lives in the Nantucket you visit today. The combination of 18th and 19th Century buildings and the cobblestone streets will make you feel as though you have stepped back in time. Antique shops, historic sites, charming inns and interesting museums are yours for discovering; with the added bonuses of dramatic scenery, miles of unspoiled beaches and plentiful nature preserves. With few cars and no traffic lights, beach-goers and sightseers, cyclists, strollers and happy ice-cream eaters lend to the charm and personality of Nantucket, making it a popular destination for people fleeing larger cities for vacation and weekend getaways.

g Hotel

I found another new hip hotel. I was searching about Ireland, about the country and everything but guess what I found..a very amazing hotel. The name of this 5 star hotel is g Hotel, located in Galway It is designed by Philip Treacy and is one of Ireland’s most luxurious hotels. When I look at the interior design, I feel like entering another new world. As if I'm in the middle of the past and the future. You can feel the oldies glamorous design but at the same time you can see all the futuristic things here and there.

The hotel has three main public areas, Grand Salon, Pink Salon, a more masculine room - Blue Lounge and (as you can see below)

Marrakech

Marrakech or Marrakesh is known as the "Red City". It is said to be an important and former imperial city in Morocco. I don't really know about the history and the culture of the city but I do notice that it has unique home. Inside and outside. The people there seem to have good home in a way that the interior is always open and it's not dull. I can see that the designs are lie the mixture of many different cultures. Sometimes the design of one room can look so clashed and mixed but if you look at the overall ambiance, it will be just perfect. Overall, with the coloured walls, the decorated terrace, the unique lightnings and the other mixture design...I give two thumbs up for Marrakesh home design. Brings fun in life with the colorful decor and uplift the mood with the nice terrace decor...

If you notice the pictures below, you will see that most the houses have terrace. Can you imagine how nice it would be having an afternoon tea on the terrace, just to let all the troubles of the day away and to always have a good start of the night...simple pleasure.

Hotel in Spain..

A few days ago I made a posting about food travel in Spain. I didn't realize that I actually love Spain, the cultures, the history sites, the food and also other interesting places there. Here's a unique hotel in Hotel Aire de Bardenas located near Bardenas Reales National Park. Bardenas Reales National Park is a semi-desert in Navarre, Spain whose vegetation and rocky formations created by erosion.

Beautiful hotel designed by Monica Rivera and Emiliano Lopez. All on one floor it has 20 rooms, 4 suites, pool, bar and restaurant. Set inside the Bardenas Reales National Park (a biosphere reserve) its surrounding landscape means that every viewpoint is amazing. Bardenas Reales is a 41,845 hectares National Park and declared as a Biosphere Reserve by UNESCO in the year 2000, and which includes three Nature Reserves. This will be a perfect hideaway for you if you're looking for some peaceful moment for you.

Spain...

Last night I watched this food travelogue TV series called Spain on the Road Again. The casts of the show are a chef Mario Batali, a Hollywood celebrity Gwyneth Paltrow, a food writer Mark Bittman and a Spanish actress Claudia Bassols.
The show is about travelling to a different region of Spain to explore the country's culinary traditions and history. Last night's episode was about these traditional food as I posted the pictures below. They had paella, sliced ham and canned tuna and of course wine for the dinner. I think the show is good considering that I can get many insight about Spain. The country is so beautiful in a way that it's modern but it still has its own traditional life in between. Gwyneth is so nice and just being herself in the show, no make up no dress up...just enjoying the travel. And the mis of the casts of so good. We can see from the local perspective (Claudia Bassols), a chef's perspective (Mario Batali), the insight of the food writer (Mark Bittman ) and also the perspective of what we can call a tourist celebrity (Gwyneth Paltrow) since she comes from abroad.
