Curtain..

Curtain...what's behind it? Many things can hide behind the curtain and no, curtain is not only meant for the window but also for other things. Just like the images below, you can see many rooms behind the curtain such as a bath tub, a bed or even a sofa. You can make your own sanctuary behind a curtain. When you feel like having your own time alone, just close it. But when it come to show others the room behind it..open it =)

Sitting with feelings

Do you like to be alone? Not lonely but to be alone in a peaceful way. Alone in your room or in your porch on the afternoon just to think back about what has happened or what will happen or just to let you really feel the feelings inside you. Sometimes I don't like to see people or myself to really absorb every feeling I can feel inside, but sometimes I think that we can't really just ignore the feelings we're having. Sometimes, we need time to absorb the feelings we have just to be able to understand what's inside our heart. The article below open my thought about absorbing our feelings. Just like the title, "As the Earth Allows the Rain", as human being we also need time to sit alone and dig the feelings we have inside. So, next time you sit alone, try to make your feelings as another company other than just your thoughts. It really is a good article from DailyOM.

As the Earth Allows the Rain

Sitting With Feelings

It can take great courage to really sit with our feelings, allowing ourselves to surrender to their powerful energies. All too often we set our feelings aside, thinking we will deal with them later. If we don’t deal with them, we end up storing them in our minds and bodies and this is when anxiety and other health issues can arise. Denying what our bodies want to feel can lead to trouble now or down the line, which is why being in the thick of our feelings, no matter how scary it seems, is really the best thing we can do for ourselves.

One of the reasons we tend to hide or push aside our feelings is that we live in a culture that has not traditionally supported emotional awareness. However, as the connection between mind and body--our emotions and our physical health-- becomes clearer, awareness of the importance of feeling our feelings has grown. There are many books, classes, workshops and retreats that can help us on our way to emotional intelligence. We can also trust in our own ability to process what comes up when it comes up. If sadness arises, we can notice its presence and welcome it, noting where in our bodies we feel it, and allowing ourselves to express it through tears or a quiet turning inward.

When we simply allow ourselves to fully feel our feelings as they come, we tend to let them go easily. This is all we are required to do; our feelings simply want to be felt. We often complicate the situation by applying mental energy in the form of analysis, when all we really need is to allow, as the earth allows the rain to fall upon it. As the rain falls, the earth responds in a multitude of ways, sometimes emptying out to form a great canyon, sometimes soaking it up to nourish an infinitude of plants. In the same way, the deeper purpose of our feelings is to transform the terrain of our inner world, sometimes creating space for more feelings to flow, sometimes providing sustenance for growth. All we need to do is allow the process by relaxing, opening, and receiving the bounty of our emotions.

The world

I watched the movie OCEAN, a documentary movie about the wonders of our aquatic world. An eye-opening movie about how rich our oceans are. I felt so small watching the movie, knowing that the world out there is such a big world and such a lovely place to live. But when I think further about life, I think about the people live in this world. About how we can live in harmony, how I hate poverty, how I hate war, how I hate violence...I think I'm just one of millions of people how dream about living in a peaceful world where everyone feels happy and I can see all of us smile to one another. What would it be like if we try to imagine a world with only 100 people for the total population? Here goes...This is just a small part of it. You have to see the rest here..

Just for laugh...

I found this and I think it's quite funny, in fact very funny. It's a joke on why men seem to be happier. Don't take it too personal to think that women are not happy...It's just for fun. Look up point number 25, don't you think it's true? For sure that applies to my boyfriend. He doesn't seem to be bothered by having only several pairs of shoes. While us women, tend to think that we don't have enough shoes...although we have a closet full of different kind of shoes ha ha. So, these are the reason why men think that they are happier..so funny..

Why Men Are Happier Than Women

  2. The garage is all ours.

  17. Phone conversations are over in 30 seconds flat.
  18. We know stuff about tanks.
  19. A five-day vacation requires only one suitcase.
  20. We can open all our own jars.
  21. We get extra credit for the slightest act of thoughtfulness.
  22. If someone forgets to invite us, he or she can still be our friend.
  23. Our underwear is $8.95 for a three-pack.

The MaGic..

I found this article from inspiration2go, it is a very thoughtful writing about the magic of life. When you think that things were not going the way you wanted it to be, have a deeper look into it. You might find that things were done in a reasonable way, as if it's always good for you (even if you don't think so). Have a look at the last four sentences at the end of the article below. Whatever it is that you've been through, there's always a good thing behind a not-so-good thing =) So, be thankful..

The magic of INTENTION

Intention is a way to focus, and bring your mind energy and power to work for you in the physical universe. Your intention can be, to be joyful, to gain clarity, to solve a problem, to bring a new relationship into your life, to be financially independent, etc... The procedure or "how to" intent is not important. You can go within and think about your intention. You can visualize it or meditate on it. Any method that brings your focus and attention to your intention is sufficient.

To reinforce your intention you can create or use a physical representation of that intention (write it on a paper, select a card for it, use a picture, etc.) or you can sing it aloud repeatedly.

The magic of NOURISHING YOURSELF

When you give to yourself, the universe receives the message that you are worthy and as such, begins to treat you in that way, in fact giving you more. The essential ingredient is persistence. Don't give to yourself only once, because it is your birthday. Nourish yourself on a regular basis and the results will be beyond your wildest expectations. Tip: most of us lack physical and emotional nourishment, silence and contact with nature.

The magic of GRATITUDE

The bottle of life is at all times both half full and half empty. We've become accustomed to focusing on the empty half. One of the fundamental universal laws is that you manifest in your life what you're preoccupied with. Thus, the more you concentrate on the empty half, the more of it you create.

Let's conduct an experiment, with the aim to create a different experience. For 24 hours choose to be only grateful. Find reasons to appreciate everything, and experience what miracles occur.

It's a beautiful day - THANK YOU WEATHER.
Dinner wasn't appetizing - HURRAY! - I can maintain my diet.
The kids are healthy - WOW!
I'm stuck in traffic - GREAT! - I have time to organize my nourishment plan.
