I can't help but post this recipe. It looks so yummy and I am sure it will taste so good too. Just look at the picture...doesn't it make you hungry instantly? Found the recipe from Life's Ambrosia. What is good about the recipe is that it's so simple and you can actually have it day or night=)
Grilled Cheese and Tomato Sandwich
Ingredients (serves 2):
- 4 slices sour dough bread
- 2 tablespoons butter, divided
- 4 slices cheddar cheese
- 1 tomato sliced into 4 slices
- 4 slices colby cheese
- Use 1 tablespoon of butter to butter each slice of bread.
- Layer 2 slices of cheddar cheese, 2 tomato slices and two slices of colby cheese between 2 slices of sour dough bread.
- Melt remaining tablespoon of butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Place sandwich in pan and cook 3 – 4 minutes per side or until the cheese is melted and the bread is golden brown.
- Serve.
