Let's bake..

Got anything to do this evening? How about baking something. here I have a recipe for a simple brownie. You know that brownie is one of those comfort foods, don't you? So I guess it might be a good idea to spend the night in front of the TV while having some pieces of the brownie, just relax and enjoy.
Ingredients:
(Cook Time: 20 minutes, Serving: 24)
  • 1 cup butter or margarine, melted
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 6 tablespoons cocoa powder
  • 1 1/2 cups flour

Directions:

  1. Combine all dry ingredients in a medium sized bowl.
  2. Melt butter or margarine and add to dry ingredients. Mix well.
  3. Add eggs one at a time and mix thoroughly.
  4. Pour batter into a 9"x13" cake pan and bake at 350ยบ F. for 20 minutes.
  5. Allow to cool completely.
  6. Decorate with your favorite icing or sprinkle with powdered sugar.
  7. To create the heart shaped brownies, line the cake pan with parchment paper or tin foil leaving enough extra on the sides to serve as "handles."
  8. Bake the brownies, allow them to cool, and then use the parchment paper or foil to remove them from the pan.
  9. Use a cookie cutter to cut out the shapes; decorate with icing or powdered sugar.
